This article on the new advanced UAV is an example of what I think of as the “writing Zeitgeist.” I find that before/after/while I write things in my novels there are often indications in the news and in other writer’s books that I haven’t even read or seen. I wrote about drones based on insect forms two years ago and just a few weeks ago there was a news item about that being a direction for drones and mini-robots.
