John R. Lewis, Practitioner of Life-long Learning

As a 2D Studio Art MFA candidate, I divide my time between my home art studio and my studio in Statesboro, Georgia in the Betty Foy Sanders Department of Art at Georgia Southern University. In my studios, I carry out my own version of imaginative iteration, a process which allows me to recreate fantasies and images into a visual art medium which compliments their actualization as two-dimensional artworks for my viewers or customers. I am focused on creating acrylic and oil paintings, colorized pencil-pen-and-ink illustrations, and giclee prints. As a practitioner of life-long learning I am always expanding my knowledge base and exploring new ways to create evocative imagery and provide my customers with quality productions.
